As you may already know, a new law, the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) has recently taken effect. This new law raises the safety standards set forth for children's products by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

There are three aspects of this law that apply to the category of children's hair accessories:
1) lead content in surface coatings or paint (CPSA)
2) lead content in substrate materials (fabrics) (CPSA)
3) small parts that can be choking hazards on products intended for children under 36 months (FHSA).

Wee Ones has developed a reasonable testing program to ensure that the products you purchase from us comply with the aspects of the law that pertain to our products.
